Prerequisites and pathways
No technical background is required. A smartphone and basic social-media familiarity are enough. For a broader marketing foundation, see Digital Marketing. For longer-form channel production, compare the YouTube Automation course.
Practical project
Create a four-week content calendar, six creative briefs, sample vertical videos, a mock paid-campaign plan and a reporting dashboard. CYBEX teaches the process; follower growth, sales and platform monetisation are not guaranteed.
Turn a content idea into a practice campaign
Choose a fictional brand or a business that has given permission, then define its audience and one clear communication goal. Plan a small series of videos that answers genuine questions rather than relying entirely on trends. Write a brief for each video covering the opening, main message, visuals and next action.
Create sample clips and review clarity, pacing, captions and sound. Check that you have permission to use the footage, people and other assets shown. Keep a record of revisions so your portfolio explains how the idea improved, not just what the finished video looks like.
Prepare a reporting exercise using clearly labelled sample data or results from an authorised account. Compare the results with the original goal and explain what you would test next. Do not describe mock results as actual audience growth or assume that views equal sales.
Before joining a batch
Confirm the current fee, duration, schedule, equipment needs and certificate requirements with CYBEX. Ask whether practice is based on organic publishing, mock advertisements or approved live campaigns. Live advertising requires account access, permission and a separately agreed budget.
For deeper production skills, explore the Video Editing course. For a broader multi-platform approach, compare Social Media Marketing.
