If you run a small winter clothing brand in Faisalabad, whether it is shawls, khaddar and karandi suits, hoodies or kids’ jackets, the simplest way to start Facebook ads for a clothing brand in Pakistan is one Sales or Leads campaign aimed at the cities you deliver to, two or three ad sets, and four to six creatives that show the actual fabric in natural light. Keep the budget small for the first week. Only increase it on ads that bring real orders, not just likes.
This guide walks through that plan step by step: what to set up before you spend anything, how to structure the campaign, what to post and how to judge results. If you want to learn this properly with hands-on practice in a real Ads Manager account, our Digital Marketing Course in Faisalabad covers Meta Ads from setup to reporting.
Why winter is a good (and risky) season for clothing ads
Winter clothing has a short buying window. People start looking when the first cold evenings arrive, and many buy for weddings and family events in December and January. That means demand is real, but so is competition. Large brands increase their ad spend at the same time, so ad costs can rise and a weak ad gets ignored quickly.
For a small Faisalabad brand, the advantage is your product and your story. Customers like seeing where a shawl is made, how thick the karandi is, or how a fleece lining feels. Big brands often run polished studio ads. A clear, honest video shot in your shop or workshop can work just as well, sometimes better.
Step 1: Get the basics ready before you spend
Most failed campaigns fail before the first ad goes live. Check these first:
- Facebook Page and Instagram account linked in Meta Business Suite, with a clear profile photo, bio, location and WhatsApp number.
- Business portfolio (Business Manager) set up, with your ad account inside it, so you do not lose access if a personal profile has problems.
- Payment method added and working. Many Pakistani debit cards need international online payments switched on through your bank app or helpline first.
- A place to send buyers: a website product page, a Shopify or WordPress store, or WhatsApp. Decide which one before you choose your campaign objective.
- Meta Pixel installed on your website (if you have one), and the Purchase and Add to Cart events tested. Without this, Meta cannot learn who buys.
- Stock and delivery plan: sizes, colours, courier, cash-on-delivery confirmation process and return policy written down.
If your store itself is not ready for heavy traffic, read our checklist on preparing your online store for 11.11 and Black Friday. The same preparation applies to winter campaigns.
Step 2: Pick the right campaign objective
Meta Ads Manager asks you to choose an objective first. This is the most important setting, because Meta shows your ad to people most likely to take that action.
| Your situation | Objective to try first | What you are paying Meta to find |
|---|---|---|
| Website with Pixel tracking purchases | Sales (website conversions) | People likely to buy online |
| No website, orders come on WhatsApp | Sales or Engagement with “Messaging apps” (WhatsApp) as the destination | People likely to send you a message |
| Bulk or wholesale buyers, custom orders | Leads (instant form) | People likely to fill a short form |
| Brand new page, nobody knows you | Engagement or Awareness for a short period, then switch | Views, reach and page familiarity |
Avoid the “Boost post” button as your main strategy. It is quick, but it gives you less control over objective, placements and tracking than a proper campaign in Ads Manager.
Step 3: Build a simple campaign structure
Keep it small enough that you can actually read the results:
- One campaign with your chosen objective, for example “Winter Shawls – Sales”.
- Two or three ad sets, each testing one audience idea:
- Broad: Pakistan (or the cities you deliver to quickly), women or men 22–45 depending on the product, no interests. Let Meta find buyers.
- Interest-based: fashion, shawls, Pakistani designer brands, online shopping.
- Retargeting (once you have traffic): people who visited your site, messaged your page or watched most of your videos in the last 30 days.
- Three to five ads per ad set, each with a different creative angle (see Step 4).
Use Advantage+ placements to start, which lets Meta show ads on Facebook, Instagram, Reels and Stories. Later you can check which placements bring orders and adjust.
On budget: start with an amount you are comfortable losing completely while you learn. Run it for at least five to seven days before judging, because Meta needs time to learn. Changing settings every day restarts that learning.
Step 4: Creatives that sell winter clothing
For clothing, the creative usually matters more than targeting. Make several versions and let the results decide.
- Fabric close-up video (10–20 seconds): hand moving across the shawl or karandi, showing thickness, embroidery and texture in daylight.
- Try-on or styling Reel: one outfit, three ways to wear it, shot vertically for Reels and Stories.
- Carousel: one card per colour, with the price or “Message for price” on each.
- Behind-the-scenes: stitching, packing orders, your shop in Faisalabad. This builds trust with new buyers.
- Customer photos (with permission only): real buyers wearing the product, never staged or invented.
Write the first line of ad copy so it answers the buyer’s main worry: “Thick, warm karandi – cash on delivery all over Pakistan”, or “Size chart in the second photo”. Mention delivery time, return or exchange policy and how to order. Urdu, English or a mix can work; test what your audience responds to.
Step 5: Read your results honestly
Likes and comments feel good but do not pay for stock. Check these numbers in Ads Manager every two or three days:
- Cost per result (purchase, message or lead), depending on your objective.
- Click-through rate (CTR): low CTR usually means the creative or offer is not grabbing attention.
- Cost per message vs actual orders: if you get many WhatsApp chats but few confirmed orders, the problem may be pricing, reply speed or trust, not the ad.
- Frequency: if the same people see your ad too often, results drop. Refresh the creative.
Keep a simple sheet: date, ad name, spend, messages or purchases, confirmed orders, returns. Compare cost per confirmed order with your profit per item. That tells you whether to scale, fix or stop an ad.

Common questions
How much should a small clothing brand spend on Facebook ads at first?
There is no fixed correct amount. Start with a budget you can afford to lose while testing, run it for about a week without big changes, then increase spending only on ads that bring confirmed orders.
Can I run ads without a website?
Yes. Many Pakistani clothing sellers send people to WhatsApp or Instagram messages. You will have less tracking than with a website and Pixel, so keep a careful record of which ad each order came from.
Should I boost posts or use Ads Manager?
Boosting is fine for quick visibility, but Ads Manager gives you proper control over objective, audiences, placements and testing. For selling, learn Ads Manager.
Why am I getting messages but no orders?
Check how fast you reply, whether the price is clear, and whether buyers trust delivery and exchange. Often the fix is in the sales process, not the ad.
Do I need to learn design to make good ads?
Not at an advanced level. Clear phone videos and simple, well-lit photos often work for clothing. Basic editing and Canva skills help you produce variations quickly.
